Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)
Blackwood Bounty CSA
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
Blackwood Bounty is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program meaning that, in exchange for your financial commitment to the farm, we ensure that you will receive weekly deliveries of the freshest, most nutritionally dense vegetables our farm provides. Our farm practices ecological land management and soil stewardship to cultivate beyond-organic fruits and vegetables. When you join the Blackwood Bounty family, your kitchen will become a chef’s kitchen at every meal and take you back to how a dining experience was meant to be: delicious, seasonal, and nourishing. By purchasing a seasonal share you are also directly supporting the educational farm programs at Blackwood Educational Land Institute.
OUR FALL 2019 SEASON COMMENCES TUESDAY, OCTOBER 15th AND RUNS THROUGH TUESDAY, DECEMBER 17th!
What’s a Share?
The Blackwood Bounty CSA program is a weekly “grocery bag” pick-up of fresh produce harvested within 24 hours from the Blackwood farm in Hempstead, Texas.
Tuesdays October 15th – December 17th between 5-8 PM
The Susanne Montrose Apartment Complex
Address: 3833 Dunlavy Street, Houston, TX 77006
$40/week Full Share = $400 for this season (Fall 2019 season runs 10 weeks.)
Full shares are meant to feed families of 2-4 and offer 5-10 different varieties of produce weekly depending on the harvest schedule.
You pay seasonally in advance for your CSA share to support our farm efforts. Then, every Tuesday during the season, we will have your fresh farm share ready for pick up at The Susanne to fill your fridge with the finest seasonal produce Blackwood has to offer.
